Specially synthesized, untitled leader pieces (the "untitled-stylus" bits) were created to fill the entire length of the cassette tape. The intent was that the recordings would overlap with the leader tape and be slightly longer than the length of the tape itself. The effect would be such that the sound would start immediately after the leader ended and would end immediately when the tape ran out, on BOTH sides of the tape.
